Jennie Teskey After having attended nearly a thousand births and  being on call for 24 years, I have now decided to focus on antenatal care and education, postnatal care and counselling. I am a shared care provider for The Women’s, Sunshine and Mercy Hospitals. My application for Box Hill Hospital is currently being processed. Shared care means I can provide most of the antenatal care for women choosing to birth at these hospitals. I have become an eligible midwife which means that I can: Order blood tests and ultrasounds women can receive a medicare rebate on my fees. This year I completed the first year of a Masters in counselling at La Trobe University and will be offering: Counselling for women who need to debrief their birth experience Counselling for traumatic birth experiences Counselling for women who are experiencing post natal depression.
