Benefit from meeting with a skilled childbirth educator, doula and life coach, who can help you through your birth and parenting preparation and help you make the best of the changes and choices you may be facing in your parenting journey.
Our time together will enable a trusting partnership to develop, so you will have the support to navigate your birthing journey confidently and in your unique way. Along side the doula role I can become your own personal childbirth educator and life coach throughout the time we are together. All packages below include:

Developing and defining your written birth plan/intentions Exploring further your understanding of possible medical interventions you may face Understanding everyone's roles and responsibilities within the birth team 3rd visit: Reviewing stages of labour and birth and when to call your doula Learning/reviewing relaxation and active birth techniques Optimal foetal positioning Partner support and relationship check in 4th visit: Debriefing the birth experience Giving nurture and care Discussing life with your baby - feed, sleep and cry behaviour Post-natal support resources Extra care / consultations options can cover:
From pregnancy through to motherhood – 9 x 1 hour consultations during the pre and post natal period, 24/7 phone support, 2 weeks on call before your due date and attendance at your birth - Cost $ 1350 This package follows on from the 'birth preparation and labour support' package (scroll up) and will include a post birth debrief, a 2 more visit over the next year to support your ongoing journey into motherhood. Coaching techniques and N.L.P are used more specifically at this stage in order to help you navigate the changes that have occurred and the new goals you may now wish to explore. [top] Post Natal Debrief Some new parents live with unanswered questions and confusion from a previous birth experience. Disempowerment, self-doubt and anger that can linger from a birth experience can stop you trusting your mothering skills and block your future birthing potential. I take the time to listen to your birth story, offer a perspective of the factors that may have influenced the birth outcome and provide tools to think afresh the potential you have within, helping you to learn from your experiences and make positive changes for your future. 1 hr consultation - $90 Payments are cash, cheque or bank transfer. Fee structure can be negotiated at onset of partnership with Birth Works. Appointments are made on a case by case basis. Visits are held at the Camberwell Health and Healing Centre, in Ringwood at my home and at your home ('Attendance at birth’ will be at home or the hospital requested by the client). [top] |
